Currently the Technical role in teams does not allow the tech team member to create a staging website. Only the owner and super admins can do this. We have our technical team members conduct wordpress updates on more complicated website but it's a PITA to have to go in and setup the staging for them first before they can complete the work. It wastes time and should just be accessible to technical team members.

I dislike the fact that an autogenerated username is tied to my official email for every new WP site I setup. I have my own usual username, and to achieve that I will need to create a new admin. Logout. Login into that new admin. Delete my autogenerated profile. Then recreate it the way I want to. If you're going to create an autogenerated username with my email (and the pair can't be changed), are you able to create an auto-generated email as well? And allow me to create the admin account the way I'd like to using my email and username.

There are many situations in which WordPress automatic updates fail, requiring manual update of plugins, a daunting task for plans with many sites and many plugins per-site. Ideally this failure rate should be as low as possible, and in situations that the automatic update fails, specific reasons should be given, along with potential troubleshooting instructions.
