instead of oldest to newest which requires me to click on "100" to view the newest sites OR click to the 3rd page. if you default to newest websites at the top of the list it will make life easier for developers.

This is a good suggestion and we'll look into it. In addition, the
very
newest should be available from the main page of the portal at all times.
