Actually listing the site with the issue would be helpful. We host 100+ sites on Nexcess and have no way of quickly identifying the site with the issue. No where in the email does it say
exactly which site
. Adding the actual site to the notification email would be a process improvement for both you and your clients.Tiffany Bridge
Thanks for this suggestion! The notification you receive contains a file hit list at the bottom showing the on-server location of every quarantined file. This is all the information that is available to the malware scanner: customer-defined domains are at a higher level of the stack.
That said, the file hit list should include the base domain, the one that the site had before you pointed your own domain at it. If you use that domain, it will open the specific site that is involved.
If your hit list does not include that info, definitely open a ticket with support to see why.
