Nexcess needs its own ability to create staging and be able tp push/pull to Production.

Every other host we work with has this. Nexcess currently has a knit together system of plugins that do not currently work. We need the ability to create staging and then push/pull as needed to refresh either environment.

Completely agree! Trying to push a site from Staging to Production in Nexcess is difficult.
I usually use a different WP host with other clients and over there it's pretty much click and choose where you want the site to go, whether it's deploying production to staging or development, staging to production, then click and the system does the work. Never once do I have to go out of the system to find a plugin, or Copy SFTP a site manually.
It baffled me that I could make a staging site fairly easy here and then have to jump through hoops to deploy it to production.

This too is a big PITA with Nexcess. Tell me to delete and recreate the staging site isn't a good solution because doing that changes the IP and temp domain, which in turn breaks all our deployment tools, allow lists, etc... We need a stable staging/dev site that we can reclone live on top of easily, locally, in the portal.

Decent, accurate, and clear instructions would help. The Nexcess instructions, generally, seem to be created by programmers who have no idea how to write for the "rest of us". When I call support, I usually am referred to the instruction files because most of the time, the support staff is not familiar with wpMerge issues. This should be embarrassing for Nexcess.

Completely agree. BlogValut works great, but the ability to clone to staging, make a change, and push back up instead of having to run the plugin would be useful.

I agree, to share/update the same plugins between environments would be useful.
